United Nurses of Alberta is proud to award a Nursing Education Scholarship to Mount Royal University student Gregory Cunningham. Gregory's scholarship application was sponsored by his mother, Connie Cunningham, who is a member of UNA Local 415 at South Health Campus in Calgary.

UNA awards Nursing Education Scholarships each year to assist nursing students in their first year of studies at approved nursing programs at post-secondary institutions in Alberta. In 2017, UNA will award ten scholarships of $1000 each and one award of $1000 sponsored by the Canadian Federation of Nurses' Unions.

Applicants must be related to a UNA member in good standing, complete an application form and write a short essay. Applications for UNA’s 2018 Nursing Education Scholarship will be accepted until Oct. 15, 2017.
